Holiday

After a looooooooooooooonnnnnnnngggggggg while... :) I'm back! Hopefully I can post something everyday. The problem is the slow connection of my internet provider :P

Anyway..I'm in school holiday. I can wake up late (very late) hahaha
I just finished my driving lesson (yeyyyy!!!) but I haven't had a driving license. I went to Bali with my parents and brother for 5 days. We went to Bedugul and stayed there only for a night. It was crazily very cold. Brrrrrrr!!!

Then spent 3 days at Kuta. I'm sunburnt!!! My face is red, but around my eyes is white (glasses). It was because I didn't put on my hat when we were at Tanah Lot. I thought it was cloudy :(

I got my nails decorated (i don't know the term) by a woman for Rp 10.000 at the last day at Kuta. NO, I didn't braid my hair nor tattoo my arm/ankle coz my skin is sensitive. I bought some bangles (I never had one).. which is so not me :)

Tough Lady also spent holiday there...too bad I couldn't meet her. But she met my brother :(

I met a friend also there. He helped my family found a place to stay at Kuta and tour-guided us :)

Well..for the rest of the holiday...I guess I must go to the police station to get my driving license.

Talking about driving lesson, LLL's li'l sister also has hers this holiday :) what a coincidence.

The Best Birthday Present Ever

I wanted to go to Bandung during Idul Fitri holiday, but because of no preparation before, I canceled it. My friends asked me to go to Solo with them from 23-26 Sept and I'd said okay. Another friend suggested me to have a mission trip for two days with my cell community. Can you imagine a two-days mission trip? It's impossible!! But, on the other hand I'd love to go with them. I arranged with a local church in Mojokerto, my hometown. I arranged on Sept 19-20, but couldn't.

To cut the story short, we could do the trip on 26-27 Sept! I had an argument with a friend who asked me to go with her to Solo. I was frustrated. But, it turned out to be okay. So, off we went to Mojokerto peacefully that Saturday.

Before we went, we had a deal to pray and fast from 23-25 (during holiday!!). Yet, so many things happened! 3 of my friends were sick, 1 had so many tasks, 1 had already went back work, the others were still not sure. But amazingly, they still prayed and fasted. 2 friends had never ministered before, but they courageously took the responsibility; other friends had never ministered in front of unknown people, yet they still did it. Still another friend must be a worship leader, yet he had no experience before..but he did it anyway. Another one, she rarely wears a skirt during ministry in our church, but in this local church, she had to. With their own ways, they paid the price.

I'm so happy and it was the best birthday present ever.

FUNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Sunday (Sept 20), my colleague came to my home. And she stayed until Thursday with me in Mojokerto.


On Monday (Sept 21), my sister's family and I took her to Taman Safari. Not only for her, but also for Billy, my baby nephew. Unfortunately, when we almost reached the elephant and giraffe, he fell asleep. Then we went to baby zoo. My friend saw this Sepeda Layang and interested to try. So, she and I bought the ticket. It was a challenge for me, actually. I have a fear of heights, and the bike was squeaking (or was it only me who heard it?). I was afraid the rail would broke and we'd fall off. But, I've overcomed it. The other challenge was, we kept of slipping coz of pedaling the bike. What an exercise it was! But it was fun :)




The next day, we went around Mojokerto. Bought ice creams and fireworks. It was too bad that the fireworks didn't work very well. Anyway, the whole family had fun that night.








On Thursday, we went to Candi Bajang Ratu and Candi Tikus. It was my first time visiting the historical sites of Mojokerto.








On that same day, my friend french-braided me before we came back to Surabaya. We went to Supermall with my brother. We tried Dr. Fish, and here are our expressions:






It felt sooooooo ticklish that I couldn't stand it. I often shooed the fish away from my feet.

Then , my friend took the rabbit she'd bought the day before. He was so cute!!

On Saturday I went home again. This time with my cell community. We had a ministry trip in a church in Mojokerto. On Sunday all of us went back to Surabaya. Got ready for Monday.
